Oh my gosh! I can't stop looking at these photos! I can't tell you how excited I was to do a vintage inspired photo session. I was even more excited when I got to the session and saw this beautiful couple exactly the way I pictured! Everything was perfect about this session, from their look to the amazing weather. We had such a good time and this has become one of my most favorite sessions I have ever done! But don't be fooled, these aren't engagement photos, even though that didn't stop them from getting all sorts of "Congratulations" from everyone who passed us by :)
I actually went to High School with the lovely Brittany here. She was a few grades ahead of myself so we never really spoke, but she is such a wonderful person. I couldn't have been more honored to spend some time with them on the morning of their First Wedding Anniversary, photographing this special moment in their lives. Even though their cake didn't quite make it through the year in the freezer, she was able to find a place to do it and replicate it as well, with only a day's notice! Here's to many more years of celebrating to come for Brittany and Ryan! Happy Anniversary!
I love pregnant!! Especially when we can get the guys to cooperate for a few photos too! I'm so happy for these two wonderful people expecting their first child together. They'll be such amazing parents.
When Tabbie scheduled this session, the mid summer heat was in full swing. She was determined to have her Engagements Photos done. It was pretty chilly when we met up, but we pushed through. What made it even better, was that they made and brought so many of their own props! Congratulations Tabbie and Joe!
**Sorry in advance for my possible over-share of photos from this session.. With so many beautiful photos, I just couldn't decide!! lol! **
When I chose the location for this amazing couple, I knew it would be gorgeous. But then, as I was walking around awaiting their arrival, I began hoping and praying that she didn't wear super high heels with the stone pathway I would be taking them on. Thankfully, they showed up perfectly coordinated, AND in cowboy boots. I was so excited to know that we would have no risk of breaking an ankle! They also brought along their little girl for a few family photos, and as long as she had some apples or bananas, she was good. Samantha and Joe are just such great people, and I cannot wait to work with them for their wedding!!
I just want to start off by saying how much fun this session was! Kaity emailed me a week before her 1st year Anniversary, wanting to surprise her husband with a photo session. She did end up telling him the night before the session, but he loved the idea! Luckily the rain held off and we had super comfortable weather at the Shore. This couple was so much fun and we got so many great photos! I wish them many more happy years of marriage. Happy Anniversary Kaity and Chuck!
I've known Lori since our first day at Chatham College. We just sat on a bench together, started talking, and from there, we went on a mandatory camping trip for orientation and wound up staying awake most of the night fighting off wolf spiders lol! I may have ended my college career early, but we've always kept in touch and I was more than excited to do her engagement photos. Lori and Chris are such amazing people and I just can't wait for the wedding.
When Tiffany contacted me, they had just a couple weeks until their engagement party. She wanted to have photos of them on display and were obviously in need of something quick. I was happy to step in and help! When we met for the session, Tiffany was so excited and had all of these ideas, and Jimil was more than willing to go along with whatever she wanted (the sign of a good man lol). First up were a few shots inside of their home, then we were off to explore the area. Congratulations Tiffany and Jimil!
I am sure that I am not the only photographer who will revisit their photos time after time and find little gems like the one below. I always end up with a ton of photos from each shoot, and while editing, I come across many that aren't usable. Whether they're a tad out of focus, or I have another photo that just outshines that one, it happens. But sometimes, it's those slightly imperfect photos that are really amazing. After going through my previous session for this couple, I absolutely love this shot! You can just see the love in her eyes.
