The last time I photographed this beautiful family, they were only a family of three. But oh, have things changed! This little guy has become such a great big brother. No doubt he will always be there for her and protect her from anything. They both are such the sweetest kids ever. Mom and Dad are very lucky. I look forward to seeing this family again in the future. And baby girl didn't cry until the very end, so she's already a pro at this! Merry Christmas A. Family!
Soooo much went into this session! We had planned on doing it at Hartwood Acres Mansion, but when I got over there, I found the road to get to it was closed and I could not find a detour for the life of me, so we chose to meet at the beautiful West Park instead. Then, during the session, we all witnessed a cat grab an innocent bird and run off with it in it's mouth, maybe 5 feet away from Daneisha. Circle of Life.. And then Daneisha's mom, whom I have been friends with for 10+ years backed into my car when we were leaving lol! No damage done though :) It was an eventful morning for sure!
Anyway, onto the Birthday Girl! I remember her being this little baby, and now she's a strong, smart, opinionated 6 year old. I absolutely LOVED her dress! If I had a girl, she would be wearing the same thing. Daneisha rocked her session and even had a few ideas too :) Just WOW!
Enjoy these images, there's plenty of them!
The little guy from this session was such a ball of energy, nothing like the calm, shy boy I met last year! lol! He just couldn't stop running! He had so much fun though. We met at the West End Overlook on one of the hottest days, but thankfully the wind was blowing and made it a little better. It always makes for a great session to have such great people to spend the time with.
The morning of this session was definitely crazy for me. I left my lifeline (my phone) in the shopping cart at Shop 'n Save and luckily a nice person turned it in, but that meant I had to drive all the way back near my house to get it and rush to my session. Thankfully, I was only 5 minutes late, not like the 15 minutes Google Maps said I would be haha! But my clients were so understanding.
Now this little boy was an absolute angel! He was so happy! He looked when I wanted him to and was just the easiest 1 year old to photograph. When the smash cake came out, he didn't have any interest in touching it and insisted on being fed his cake my mom. I hope this guy has a great First Birthday party! Happy Birthday Baby M.!
The rainy summer we've been having made up reschedule this session the first time, but we had nothing but sunshine for it this day. I photographed this family when L. was born, and she has grown so much, but still manages to look the same to me. Baby L was so happy almost the entire time, only tiring of it near the end. She is another natural for the camera for sure!
I love repeat clients! I've gotten to see these babies grow up over the last couple of years. Aren't they gorgeous!
It has been a RAINY summer here in Pittsburgh!! I had to reschedule this session TWICE before we lucked out with a gorgeous day. This happened to be the third time I photographed this beautiful family, and the little guy seemed so grown up now. He's turning the big 3 and he is such a little sweetheart. I had so much fun with this guy during our session, and he's a big Mickey Mouse fan too, just like my own little guy is. We walked away, each saying that we made a new friend :) Anyway, there are so many beautiful photos to share from their session, so here they are! Happy Birthday A!
I have photographed Lori and Chris' engagement, their wedding, and now as a new family :) I forgot how crowded Schenley Park can get on a nice day, but we managed to find peace away from everyone, and even luckier than that, parking spots! haha! Ryder absolutely loved the camera! You can tell that mommy is always taking pictures of him. He was so serious, so it took a little help from Elmo and his giraffe to get some smiles from him. I just love this little guy!
I can't say enough how much I loved this session, so excuse the over-share of images! When Danielle described their personalities when we first spoke, I just knew the perfect location for them. It fit so well with them! And their little boy is absolutely precious! He is definitely a free spirit and will be quite the heartbreaker when he grows up, but he's just too cute. I wish my boys could grow hair like his. Enjoy these images from their session!
This little 7 month beauty was a joy to photograph! She's such a natural! She kept trying to eat the flowers and leaves, but hey, it was close to lunch time - I was hungry too haha! It was such a beautiful spring day and this park is just gorgeous. We had a good time walking (and strolling) along. I can't wait to photograph her again for her 1st birthday!
