The last time I photographed this beautiful family, they were only a family of three. But oh, have things changed! This little guy has become such a great big brother. No doubt he will always be there for her and protect her from anything. They both are such the sweetest kids ever. Mom and Dad are very lucky. I look forward to seeing this family again in the future. And baby girl didn't cry until the very end, so she's already a pro at this! Merry Christmas A. Family!
Seriously, where do I start? This little guy is so amazing, and his parents aren't too bad either ;) I've known Lori for almost 10 years, holy cow! I can't believe it's been that long! Lol! But anyway, I couldn't be happier with this session. It was on a very overcast day ( A photographer's dream ), it was cold, but eventually things warmed up. Little guy was a trooper, I don't remember him crying once. And at the end, he got to get up close and personal with the doggies around the park. If only I got a photo of the one running up to him and licking him right in the face lol! I always have a good time with Lori, Chris, and Ryder! Happy 1st Birthday little guy!!
Yes, 5!! But that's only because baby boy will have 2 older doggie siblings :) Erin and Raymond are two fun loving people who have been together forever! Married last year, and now a sweet baby boy will be joining them soon enough.
We first met at their house, where she had the backyard all set up for photos with the doggies, then we headed over to South Park near the gazebo. It was a super cold morning, one we definitely weren't expecting! But we braved the cold and managed to get some beautiful shots. So, now on to the best part of this blog post, here are my favorites from their session - yes there are a lot!!
Soooo much went into this session! We had planned on doing it at Hartwood Acres Mansion, but when I got over there, I found the road to get to it was closed and I could not find a detour for the life of me, so we chose to meet at the beautiful West Park instead. Then, during the session, we all witnessed a cat grab an innocent bird and run off with it in it's mouth, maybe 5 feet away from Daneisha. Circle of Life.. And then Daneisha's mom, whom I have been friends with for 10+ years backed into my car when we were leaving lol! No damage done though :) It was an eventful morning for sure!
Anyway, onto the Birthday Girl! I remember her being this little baby, and now she's a strong, smart, opinionated 6 year old. I absolutely LOVED her dress! If I had a girl, she would be wearing the same thing. Daneisha rocked her session and even had a few ideas too :) Just WOW!
Enjoy these images, there's plenty of them!
I was so excited for this session! When Tiffany and I were discussing locations and she mentioned Peter's Lake Park, I immediately said yes. I only saw photos of it and I long dreamed of shooting there, but had no luck. It was gorgeous. The weather was perfect. I had no phone service in the whole park haha! But it made the session that much better once I actually met Tiffany and her husband Christian. They are such great people and I know they'll be amazing parents. We had fun and good conversations while walking around the park. So here's to new life and a new journey for this wonderful couple! Here are some of my favorite photos from their session!
The little guy from this session was such a ball of energy, nothing like the calm, shy boy I met last year! lol! He just couldn't stop running! He had so much fun though. We met at the West End Overlook on one of the hottest days, but thankfully the wind was blowing and made it a little better. It always makes for a great session to have such great people to spend the time with.
So we've been home from our vacation for little over a month and I thought I would share some photos. Obviously, these are phone photos. I was a little worried about bringing my camera on the plane, but I realize now, that it's a necessity next time! Oh the shots I could've gotten with my trusty Canon! haha! Looking at these photos makes me wish I were there right now. San Diego was gorgeous and the weather was absolutely amazing. My phone STILL shows me the weather there on my home screen, like it's taunting me!! We cannot wait to go back!
We stayed at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort and it was fantastic! We were nervous taking the kids on vacation but they are so family friendly it's ridiculous! One night, my son wanted a night light at 10 pm, we called the front desk to inquire on one, and someone showed up 5 minutes later with a night light! Absolute best place we could've stayed on our family vacation!
The morning of this session was definitely crazy for me. I left my lifeline (my phone) in the shopping cart at Shop 'n Save and luckily a nice person turned it in, but that meant I had to drive all the way back near my house to get it and rush to my session. Thankfully, I was only 5 minutes late, not like the 15 minutes Google Maps said I would be haha! But my clients were so understanding.
Now this little boy was an absolute angel! He was so happy! He looked when I wanted him to and was just the easiest 1 year old to photograph. When the smash cake came out, he didn't have any interest in touching it and insisted on being fed his cake my mom. I hope this guy has a great First Birthday party! Happy Birthday Baby M.!
The rainy summer we've been having made up reschedule this session the first time, but we had nothing but sunshine for it this day. I photographed this family when L. was born, and she has grown so much, but still manages to look the same to me. Baby L was so happy almost the entire time, only tiring of it near the end. She is another natural for the camera for sure!
I love repeat clients! I've gotten to see these babies grow up over the last couple of years. Aren't they gorgeous!
